Texas A&M Football: 3 takeaways from win over Ole Miss in Week 12
1. Matt Luke is a legitimate option at head coach for Ole Miss
Even though Ole Miss fell short in this one, head coach Matt Luke should still be considered a viable option for the permanent job next year. Ole Miss will have its fair share of solid picks, since it is a successful SEC program.
With all the controversy surrounding the program this season after Hugh Freeze was let go, Luke did a tremendous job keeping everything together. Ole Miss would be a bowl team if such a thing was an option this year.
The LSU Tigers decided to go with the interim head coach permanently last year with Ed Orgeron. If Ole Miss cannot find a much better option than Luke, it would be a fantastic idea to bring him on board for the long haul.
