NC State Wolfpack. Bradley Chubb. 1. player. 53. . Defensive End

Picking a defensive end first overall worked out very well for the Cleveland Browns last season. Former Texas A&M Aggies superstar Myles Garrett has one of the brightest futures of any pass rusher in the NFL.

However, the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft is still up in the air. Picking a quarterback would be a huge mistake for the Browns. This is a deep class at quarterback, but picking that position never seems to work out for the Browns.

Instead, Cleveland goes with NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb to play opposite Garrett on the line. Former Oklahoma State pass rusher Emmanuel Ogbah has solid production (4.0 sacks) so far, but the Browns could always use more depth on defense.

Building the rest of the team around a quarterback, likely other than DeShone Kizer, would be the best route for the Browns to take. Chubb is a top 5 talent in the upcoming draft and is one of the safest options to pan out at the pro level.
