4. Live-Streaming Games

Before the era of smartphones and fast laptops, if your team wasn’t on networks such as ESPN, CBS, ABC or others, it was either on pay-per-view, radio or you were forced to go to the game.

But this is the 21st century, and technology has made marketing college football so much easier. It is a rarity in today’s day and age that a football game is not streamed on ESPN3, FoxSportsGo, BTN2GO, and other streaming services. Even Facebook has begun streaming lower level FBS and FCS games during the season.

The pros outweigh the cons when it comes to live streaming games in today’s age, while it has affected stadium attendance in a good portion of FBS schools, you are still able to watch games in place you normally couldn’t before such as weddings, the office, your car (not recommended) and so on.
