Breaking down 2018 college football coaching carousel
Current Openings (Part 2)
Tennessee
One of the few schools to offer a midseason firing was Tennessee who got rid of Butch Jones early in November. Tennessee AD John Currie has been radio silent on the coaching front which could be a good thing but the news of former Rutgers and Tampa Bay Bucs head coach Greg Schianio may be taking the job. After Tennessee fans have convinced themselves that John Gruden would end up there (why I have no idea) this seems to come off as an underwhelming hire, if it is true.

Nebraska
Mike Riley was canned on Saturday morning and it appears that Nebraska will be focusing on former Nebraska quarterback and current Central Florida head coach Scott Frost who has appeared to turn down Florida at this point in time. There was some debate if Frost were to come back to Nebraska or stay in Florida to remain at Central Florida. There will be updates on this story if something happens regarding the coaching search.
