Running back is suddenly a much higher need for the Dolphins that is was a few months ago. With starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill set to return from injury next season they could use one more weapon to put along side him in the backfield.
LSU running back Derrius Guice is poised to follow in the footsteps of former teammate Leonard Fournette. Last season Fournette was selected in the first round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. This year it could be Guice’s turn to hear his name called on the first night of the draft. Once Fournette’s backup, Guice has continued to run roughshod over one the most physical conferences in college football.
Guice capped off what could be his final game at Tiger Stadium with 127 yards rushing and a touchdown against Texas A&M.
