Orlando Brown. 19. player. 44. . OT. Oklahoma

The first round might have plenty of offensive linemen selected, especially if they keep stepping up like they have been throughout the college football season. Orlando Brown is another guy who has impressed me with his athleticism in the trenches and brute strength as well.

It’s tough to find a combination from big linemen these days, but Brown has it. You might look at the 6-foot-8, 345-pound behemoth and think that he might not have the stamina to play major snaps in the NFL, but he has slimmed down, if you can believe it, and the athleticism is there.

Like the Packers, the Falcons need to protect the franchise quarterback and the offensive line is a need for Atlanta. Coming into the season, he was a raw prospect, but he has grown into his own and is one of the main reasons why Oklahoma has the scariest offense in the Big 12 — a conference known for scoring points.

The Sooners’ offensive tackle would fit right into that offensive line and he’s versatile enough that he could start out at right tackle or even guard — although he’d be a mammoth there.
