3. JT Barrett and Dwayne Haskins shine together

This season has been a rollercoaster for the leader of the Buckeyes, but quarterback J.T. Barrett is not done yet. With that being said, another name is thriving in Columbus and that is freshman quarterback Dwayne Haskins. After Barrett was injured late in the third quarter last weekend in their game against Michigan, Haskins helped lead the Buckeyes to a victory over the Wolverines.

Barrett has made an impact to the Buckeyes football season since day one when he came in as a freshman. Four years later and the senior is still contributing but this year has been his toughest yet. Just last week, Barrett underwent a minor knee surgery but he is still expected to play and make the start this week in their championship game. Both Haskins and Barrett are expected to play in this game and I expect both of them to make their own impact.

Both of the quarterbacks are happy with keeping the ball and running with it, but Haskins has shown more talent when throwing the ball. I expect both quarterbacks to get opportunities throughout the game and and for the both of them to succeed in those opportunities. Look for the two to combine for 250 passing yards, 100 rushing yards and a trio of touchdowns. Who said you can’t win a game while playing two quarterbacks?
