1. Michigan

The only school that reports have linked Patterson to so far is Michigan. Head coach Jim Harbaugh would love to have a quarterback the level of Patterson coming to Ann Arbor. All he needs to turn the Wolverines into a team that could win a National Championship is a solid quarterback.

Both Wilton Speight and John O’Korn did not get it done for the Wolverines in the last two years. Brandon Peters did show some potential, but he might not be the long-term answer for the Wolverines either.

If Patterson goes with the only school he’s rumored to be looking at right now, it would be a great move for his career. Michigan has the defense to be consistently competitive in the Big 10. Patterson could take the Wolverines to that next level to win the conference and finally make it to the College Football Playoff.

The best move for Patterson would be to choose a program that he would be familiar with. The Big 10 is the most similar in terms of scheme to that of the SEC. And, Patterson would have a coach that is among the most successful in the nation in Harbaugh.
