1. Immediate impact on recruiting

Amid the rumors of Sumlin getting ousted in College Station, the Aggies lost a valued four-star safety commit in Leon O’Neal Jr. Even with O’Neal Jr. opening his recruiting back up, the Aggies still hold the No. 12 class in the nation, and No. 4 in the SEC.

Texas A&M might lose a few more recruits that committed to Sumlin, not Fisher. Yet, Fisher is going to easily have a more positive than negative impact on the 2018 class. FSU was much worse off than the Aggies through this whole situation with Fisher.

The Noles dropped to the No. 15 recruiting class in the nation, after having a single day with three recruits decommitting. He could bring a few of those recruits over to the Aggies. But, some players on the fence about Texas A&M could now be drawn to play there.
