1. Equanimeous St. Brown, WR

With linebacker Te’Von Coney and defensive lineman Jerry Tillery both unsettled on whether or not they will enter the upcoming draft, choosing wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown wasn’t a given. St. Brown, also a junior, is currently weighing his options as well. With his brother Amon-Ra considering a career at Notre Dame as well, Equanimeous has a lot to digest.

However, presuming he opts to enter the NFL Draft, he’ll be an intriguing player to watch as the Irish take on the Tigers in a few weeks. St. Brown has struggled under the era of quarterback Brandon Wimbush, but his ability to thrive in a pro-style offense led by Kizer helps maintain the interest of NFL scouts.

St. Brown certainly has the build for an NFL career as he stands at 6-5, 203 lbs. His ability to maintain his composure in the midst of a painful quarterback change displays the kind of temperament coaches are looking for in team leaders. However, if stats are of any consequence, St. Brown has recorded less than half the receiving yards he did last year.

St. Brown’s stock has undoubtedly taken a hit in the midst of Wimbush’s emergence, but he still has much to play for considering the raw talent he deploys on a weekly basis. A mid to late round draft pick is likely in his future, but he certainly has the potential to up his appearance with a strong showing against one of the nation’s top teams.
