4. David Sills V emerged as one of the best receivers in the nation

The connection between Grier and Sills V was one of the best wide receiver-quarterback duos in the nation. Sills V was named a Second Team AP All-American this week, and it was well deserved as he led the nation in the regulars season with 20 touchdown catches.

There were multiple games where Sills V was a red zone threat that opposing defenses could not stop. He racked up nine touchdown catches in wins over the Red Raiders, Baylor Bears, and East Carolina pirates combined.

The junior wide receiver should be back in Morgantown next year, and could an under the radar draft pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Jennings and Sills V should highlight the West Virginia receiving corps, alongside Grier, in 2018.

Sills V was also named a First Team All-Big 12 wide receiver, along with senior Oklahoma State wide receiver James Washington. To be mentioned alongside Washington, you have to have done something right on the field.
