If Kelley does not work out for the Hogs next year, or if he’s not a good fit with the offensive scheme Morris tries to instill, Arkansas will need to find a new quarterback. Lucky for them, four-star pro-style quarterback Connor Noland signed his Letter of Intent to play for the Hogs.

Noland has a big arm, and a sneaky level of athleticism. The main claim to fame that Kelley has is his toughness, but Noland could develop into a better quarterback with his feet. Either way, Noland will be the next quarterback in line to run this offense.

With 11 total offers and a number of looks from top-notch programs, Noland gave Arkansas a big win during the Early Signing Period. He originally committed to Arkansas on July 20 and stayed with the same school through the changing of head coaches.

It’s nice to see Noland stay in his home state and play for the biggest program in Arkansas. He’s the 12th best pro-style quarterback in the nation and the second best overall prospect in Arkansas. He’ll get reps with the Arkansas offense with a chance to make his mark in 2018.
