Michigan State football: 5 bold predictions for the Holiday Bowl vs Washington State
By Shane Lunnen
1. Michigan State wins convincingly
After all of the other bold predictions, this one seems like a no brainer at this point. The Spartans will go out and win convincingly, cementing a 10 win season. The Spartans know exactly what the Cougars are going to do on offense. Pass, pass, and pass some more. Washington State has a non-existent rushing attack, ranking second to last in FBS.
The Spartans need to get after Luke Falk all day. He was sacked 30 times this season and has shown he is prone to mistakes when rattled. If Michigan State gets a couple early turnovers, the game will start to turn in their favor.
Michigan State will use LJ Scott just enough to control the clock when they have the ball, but they will get a great game from Brian Lewerke. He will be accurate and move the Spartan offense down the field methodically, eating up the clock.
The line according to Sportsbook is one point in favor of Washington State. Pretty well even. I have went against Michigan State a few times this season, but not this time. They seem to have a pretty solid team, ready for one final victory this season.

The Spartans will win by at least two touchdowns to springboard themselves into what they hope to be an even bigger 2018 season. The Cougars will end their season with a bunch of questions and thoughts about what this season could have been.
