2. Mason Rudolph and James Washington went out the right way

The most star power on any offense in college football’s postseason lied with Oklahoma State. Rudolph and Washington are likely to both result in first round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft. And, each received major awards at the end of the regular season.

Washington is the active FBS leader (or at least until the end of the Camping World Bowl) in receiving yards. He finished the night with 126 yards and one touchdown, on five catches. One of those catches went for a 65 yard touchdown.

Rudolph had nine outings with more than 350 passing yards this year. He totaled more than 4,500 passing yards and 45 touchdowns. Few quarterbacks were able to even think about that stat line this year. Rudolph is going to be missed in Stillwater.

Yet, Rudolph might not be missed as much as Washington, who finished as a First-Team All American and the Biletnikoff Award winner, as the top receiver in the nation. He was able to have a solid performance against one of the best defenses in the Power Five.
