3. Dante Pettis ends his Huskies career with two touchdowns

While Penn State possesses the top talent at running back in this game, the Huskies have the best wide receiver. Barkley and senior star wide receiver Dante Pettis are also both threats on offense and special teams.

UW finds any way to get Pettis the ball that they can. It would take Pettis 102 receiving yards for Pettis to set a career high in that stat category. Yet, he’s well off the 15 receiving touchdown mark that he posted in 2016. So far, Pettis has seven touchdown catches.

Getting the ball to Pettis early and often is a big key for the Huskies in this game. He’ll have a chance to also get his fifth punt return for a touchdown this season. Pettis set an NCAA record for career punt returns for a touchdown, with nine total.

Stopping a receiver averaging nearly 20 yards per catch is going to be a real chore for the Penn State defense. Pettis is an electric player that is suiting up for his final contest as a Husky. Watch out for Pettis and Gaskin to lead the way for the UW offense.
