Love could easily become a key player in the NFL next year with Joe Flacco and the Ravens.
The Stanford Heisman finalist ran for 2,118 yards and scored 19 touchdowns after stepping into the No. 1 role. He didn’t show much in terms of catching passes out of the backfield, but as a freshman, Love had 15 receptions for 250 yards, so that skill is there.
Flacco isn’t getting any younger, and despite missing the playoffs, Baltimore appears to be on the right track. Pairing Flacco and Love together could be the right move to get them over the hump and past Pittsburgh in the division.
