Scouting Report. RB. player. Pick Analysis. Penn State. Saquon Barkley. 2. 31

What New York does with Eli Manning could alter this pick, as the Giants would need a new quarterback if they let the “other” Manning brother leave.

If they stick with the former Super Bowl winner, giving him an instant playmaker in Saquon Barkley would have to be the perfect present.

Barkley showed his NFL-ready skills on several instances this past season, finishing with his third consecutive 1,000-yard season. The junior had 18 touchdowns, giving him 43 for his Penn State career.

Another huge part of Barkley’s game his is ability to catch passes, as he hauled in 54 receptions for 632 yards. Add in his incredible talent returning kicks, and Barkley easily could be the NFL Rookie of the Year next season.
