NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete first round post-bowl season
By Dana Becker
Minnesota is loaded on the offense, but the Vikings could still use more pieces on defense.
Dorance Armstrong Jr. was a playmaker for Kansas – yes, that sounds crazy to say. As a sophomore, he made 20 tackles for loss with 10 sacks, recording 56 stops in all.
Armstrong, who can play either defensive end or outside linebacker, followed that up with 63 tackles, including 9.5 for loss with a pair of sacks.
After such a strong year in 2016, it was obvious defenses knew who he was and shied away from him on the field.
Armstrong can only help his case with personal workouts and the combine, offering himself a chance to shine.
