NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete first round post-bowl season
By Dana Becker
Right now, it would be hard to make a case for Sam Darnold over Josh Rosen, and that is something NFL teams will have to do before we get draft night.
For now, Darnold’s big play potential appears to give him an edge.
Rosen, though, could be the more polished of the two – and the most polished college quarterback in the entire draft.
While battling injuries and concussions, he finished his three-year career at UCLA with 9,301 yards and 59-to-26 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Rosen completed at least 59 percent of his passes all three seasons, including a career-best 62.5 this past year.
The Broncos would be owning up to Paxton Lynch being a mistake by taking Rosen at the No. 5 spot.
