In his first season as the main offensive threat from Stanford, Bryce Love shined bright.

Love, a Heisman finalist, carried the ball 263 times for 2,118 yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging over eight yards per carry. He was a runner-up to the top individual award to Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, and will enter 2018 as a favorite to return to New York City for the honor.

As a sophomore, Love showed he had the skills to be the top back in the nation, averaging seven yards per carry and racking up over 800 yards from scrimmage.

Once the Cardinal handed control of the offense over to the 5-foot-10, 196-pounder, he tore through opposing defenses.

Love went over 100 yards 12 times, including a 25-carry, 301-yard, three-touchdown performance vs. Arizona State. He averaged over 12 yards per carry three times this past season, running for 145 yards in an Alamo Bowl loss to TCU.
