Penn State Football: Way too early game-by-game predictions for 2018
By Shane Lunnen
The Lions will be reeling from their loss to Michigan and now they will need to deal with an undefeated Wisconsin team. This will be the first time the teams have met since their meeting in the 2016 Big Ten Championship game, which saw Penn State leave victorious.
Quarterback Alex Hornibrook returns to the Badgers after having an up and down season capped with a stellar performance against a very good Miami defense in the Orange Bowl. Also back is freshman running back sensation Jonathan Taylor. His performance in the Orange Bowl left him 23 yards shy of 2,000 on the season. By the time these two teams meet, he will be closing in on the 2,000 yard mark.
The Wisconsin defense will be in late season form and smother Trace McSorley all day, racking up five sacks and forcing him to fumble the ball three times, losing two of them. Taylor will hammer the Nittany Lion front seven to the tune of 150 yards and three scores. The Nittany Lions will be trounced at home and the Badgers walk away with their first victory in Happy Valley since the 2003 season.
