With a two game losing streak to break, Penn State will absolutely need a win against Rutgers. A trip to New Jersey should cure what ails the Lions.

Head coach Chris Ash is attempting to turn around the fortunes of the Scarlet Knights. In 2016, they picked up zero wins in conference but last season saw the Knights win three, a step in the right direction. Ash has also been making gains on the recruiting trail. Unfortunately for Rutgers though, they are still in the Big Ten East and are a step behind the big boys of the conference.

Trace McSorley will get back on track after a couple bad games and Miles Sanders will run the over matched Rutgers defense. The Nittany Lion defense will be looking to put on a big hurt after giving up over 70 points in two weeks. Freshman defensive end Micah Parsons has a coming out party, leading the team in tackles, forcing a fumble and sacking quarterback Giovanni Rescigno twice. The defense also records a pair of interceptions, returning one to the house. Penn State keeps the Knights out of the end zone and returns home for their season finale.

Final Score: Rutgers 9, Penn State 35 (8-3, 5-3 Big Ten)
