Following their huge matchup in State College, Iowa travels to West Lafayette to face Big Ten West foe the next Saturday. Purdue upset Iowa on Senior Day last season by the score of 25-14.

The Boilermakers made huge strides in their first season under head coach Jeff Brohm and it showed towards the end of the season by beating Iowa and Indiana to become bowl eligible. Purdue then closed out their season with a win in the Foster Farms Bowl against Arizona. The Boilermakers return quarterback David Blough and running back Markell Jones, who came on strong at the end of the season.

This series has recently been dominated by Iowa, winning four of their last five against Purdue. But the Boilermakers are on the rise with Jeff Brohm at the helm. The Hawkeyes will get a scare, but they will survive the trip to Ross-Ade Stadium.

Final Score: Purdue 20, Iowa 27 (7-2)
