The Hawkeyes go on the road for the second straight week to face the always stingy Indiana Hooisers in Bloomington. This the first matchup for these two since 2015.

Indiana showed promise in their first season under head coach Tom Allen, finishing 5-7 following the controversy surrounding the firing of previous head coach Kevin Wilson. The Hoosiers do lose some key pieces with the graduation of linebacker Te’Gray Scales and star wide receiver Simmie Cobbs Jr. to the NFL Draft. Indiana does face Iowa after coming off a game against the Buckeyes and have Penn State the week after.

Indiana has always give Iowa fits over the past decade or so. The most famous occurrence was in 2009, where Iowa stormed back from a 24-7 deficit to win 42-24, keeping their undefeated season alive. A year later Indiana lost following a dropped touchdown pass in the back of the endzone as Iowa survived 18-13.

While Indiana has recently give Iowa struggles, this time around will be different with two possible top ten matchups sandwich this game for Indiana.

Final Score: Indiana 10, Iowa 34 (5-1)
