4. Brayden Narveson, Kicker

Every time the field goal unit goes onto the field, points are at stake. For a coach, having a kicker who they can trust is huge.

Brayden Narveson is an early enrollee from Scottsdale, Arizona and ranked the 12th-best kicker by 247Sports. With the departure of Garrett Owens, Iowa State will more than likely have an open competition for the kicking position. The Cyclones have five kickers on their roster but Narveson may have the biggest leg of all of them.

The 6-foot-1, 290-pound kicker made a long of 58 yards his senior year and kicked a 63-yard kick in warmups.

Don’t be surprised if you see the true-freshman handle the kicking duties for Iowa State this upcoming fall. An entire spring and summer in Ames will pay huge dividends for Narveson and only make his leg even bigger.
