5. Jalen Goss, Offensive Tackle

Currently ranked the No. 72 offensive tackle in the country by 247 Sports, Jalen Goss committed to Florida State on Jan. 13. The Valdosta, GA native chose the Seminoles over Michigan, Auburn, and in-state rivals Miami.  For you naysayers out there, I am well aware that Goss is a 3-star recruit. But, man, the kid can move. He is graceful with his speed, too.

His balance and coordination are impressive–particularly for someone of his size. Goss is 6-foot-7 and 265 pounds, which means he needs to fill out a bit, but the strength and conditioning coaches at FSU will take care of that.

Goss has a rare combination of speed and power, and his formidable height means that he will be a great run blocker. His acceleration off the line and his athleticism should be a great boon for the ‘Noles front line.
