Here we are at No. 1 and it happens to be a current Michigan commit. Why would I list a player already committed to Michigan’s 2018 class as the No. 1 target for National Signing Day? If you’ve been following the storylines concerning Otis Reese, you’d know.
The four-star outside linebacker from Leesburg, Ga., has been rumored to be high on Georgia. He’s even visited Athens four times since Sept. 2, the last time coming on Jan. 26 as his final official. This puts Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines in an interesting position.
Michigan is hoping to hold on to one of its highest-rated commits in the 2018 class while it’s clear Kirby Smart and Co. have put on the full-court press. The Bulldogs were able to swing the last official visit, which is usually the most important.
Reese hasn’t flipped his commitment yet, so that’s a good sign for Michigan, but everyone will be tuned in on National Signing Day to see if he signs with the Wolverines or stays home with the Bulldogs.
