If Baylor is looking to add a single player to the mix that can immediately change what the incoming freshmen class looks like, they’ve found their guy in this four-star defensive end. The Baylor defense could really use a boost after what happened to them in 2017.

Baylor could jump into the top 20 classes in the nation by adding the 11th best weak-side defensive end in the country. Four-star Conroe, Texas, product Joseph Ossai is one of the best remaining uncommitted prospects that Baylor has offered.

He does have looks from big time programs such as the Texas A&M Aggies, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Crimson Tide, Longhorns and Ducks. It’s not surprising though that Baylor is still in the mix, among the dark horses to land Ossai. Baylor is a program on the rise at this moment.

Ossai’s decision before the conclusion of National Signing Day will be one of the more closely monitored of all prospects out there in the coming days. Baylor would love him to bring his services to Waco and boost their 2018 class tremendously.
