The long and rangy four-star outside linebacker from Oradell, N.J., is ready to put on a show for whichever school he decides to take his talents to. Javontae Jean-Baptiste is a big name that still has a lot of suitors left before National Signing Day comes around.

He does have an interesting group of favorites lined up for when he makes his actual decision. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are the heavy favorite to get the commitment from Jean-Baptiste. But, the Boston College Eagles, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Aggies still have a good shot.

It would take a huge push from Fisher to be able to land the New Jersey native. Jean-Baptiste brings the set of size and skill that could take him to the NFL at some point. At 6-foot-5, he’d be a force to be reckoned with, even by SEC standards.

Prying Jean-Baptiste out of Big Ten and ACC country would be an impressive feat for Fisher and Texas A&M football recruiting. They don’t have any linebackers locked up in the current class, and this is possibly the best prospect the Aggies would get on the open market still.
