4. Hudson Henry, TE

Hudson Henry, one of, if not the best tight end in his class, will undoubtedly be one of Notre Dame’s top targets in 2019. The Irish have always been known for their tight end play, making the addition of a player like Henry all the sweeter. With the Alize Mack project shaping up to be a failure, Brian Kelly would love to add Henry to an already deep tight end group.

Tradition aside, Henry would be a fantastic fit for numerous reasons. First, Henry employs a Jimmy Graham-esque style of play, helping out his quarterback by running nearly perfect routes and always seeming to find the holes in coverage. While blocking isn’t his forte, Henry should be able to hold his own against defensive backs and most linebackers should be put on a few more pounds.

While experts currently have Henry leaning towards his hometown Arkansas Razorbacks, the Irish come in at option number two and still have plenty of time to convince him to make South Bend his home. It won’t be easy, but a stronger season from Mack may give offensive coordinator Chip Long a little more ammunition in his battle to win Henry over from the Razorbacks.
