Penn State just lost one of their best safeties of all time as Marcus Allen has completed his four years and will be in the NFL Draft this April. While the Lions have depth to replace Allen in 2018, they are always looking towards the future. Perhaps Lewis Cine could be the next great Nittany Lion safety.

Cine is from Everett, Massachusetts, a northern suburb of Boston. He is the number one player in the state and is ranked the third best safety in the nation. Cine’s overall player rank currently sits at 36th. He is very high on the top of Penn State’s defensive targets for the 2019 cycle.

While he holds 25 offers and possibly will be adding more to the list, Cine’s top three schools as it stands now all reside in the Big Ten. Michigan and Ohio State are the other two. The good news for the Lions is Cine recently told Land of 10 the Lions are his top pick and have a very good shot at getting him to Happy Valley. He made his only unofficial visit last fall to Happy Valley when Penn State beat Indiana 45-14.  As long as the coaches keep up the full court press in recruiting him, Penn State fans should not be surprised at seeing Cine in the blue and white very soon.
