From one bad team to the next, Iowa State welcomes the lowly Baylor Bears to Ames on Nov. 10. The Cyclones won a rather close game against the one-win Bears a year ago by a final score of 23-13.

The fallout from the sexual assault scandal hit full effect last season as Baylor finished 1-11 under first year head coach Matt Rhule. However, Rhule has flipped the script faster than many thought as the Bears brought in a very impressive recruiting class. The Bears do seem set at quarterback with Charlie Brewer as he finished 2017 out strong, passing for 11 touchdowns and only four interceptions. Baylor will still not amount many wins, but they will be competitive in the conference.

Iowa State scored the first win against the Bears since 2012 last season and not many will expect the Cyclones to let this one slip by either. Matt Campbell and company will win this game with ease and get their seventh win on the year.

Final Score: Baylor 10, Iowa State 42 (7-3)
