3. Age in his favor

If Manziel does make it all the way back onto an NFL team by the kickoff of the 2018 season, or even just with a team during the preseason, he’s in a great position. That puts Manziel on an NFL roster with a chance to prove his worth again at the age of 25.

Most quarterbacks do not even peak in their NFL career until at least 27 or 28-years-old. Getting back on the right track is just the first step in what could still be a promising career for the player known as “Johnny Football”.

Manziel might have been a little young to have such a bright spotlight on him when he first entered the NFL, with the Browns back in 2014. And, if the Browns were willing to be patient enough with Manziel over a two-year period, some other team could be also.

There are some quarterbacks that will try to get their career back on track past 35-years-old. Age is not a huge concern with Manziel. If nothing else, a few years to reflect possibly could even benefit Manziel and the NFL in the long run.
