4. A.J. Terrell – Cornerback

A.J. Terrell, a former 5-star recruit from Atlanta, Georgia is the type of cornerback that fits just right with the Clemson Tigers. Now a sophomore, the extra season of preparation will be critical toward his development entering the 2018 season.

Luckily, Terrell was a good enough candidate to receive quite a bit of playing time for the Tigers. Due to the Clemson players suffering so many injuries, Terrell was given the chance to show why recruiters came to Georgia for him in the first place.

He is a breakout player to watch for 2018 because everyone’s eyes have been on Terrell since the 2017-18 season. Terrell was able to catch on to a complex system that involved top-notch coaching and play-making. He played in all 14 games and to end the season, Terrell finished third on the team in pass breakups.

As a sophomore and being one of the top players is a true gift for Clemson and he will have a lot to offer in 2018.
