DT. Ole Miss. Breeland Speaks. 3. player. 16. Round 3, No. 96 overall

Another pass rush specialist and the Rebels’ only junior entrant, Breeland Speaks could be drafted soon after Haynes is off the board. His his combination of size (6-foot-3, 285 pounds) and athleticism make his an intriguing developmental prospect with tremendous upside. Speaks plays with intensity and a fierceness that sometimes leads him to over-pursue, but the motor is undeniable.

The knock on Speaks is the limited sample size. He only has one season of elite production, but that one season was impressive. Speaks registered more sacks (seven) and tackles (61) in his junior season than he did in his first two collegiate seasons combined. His strong 2017 campaign earned him an All-SEC selection.

The Buffalo Bills will be looking to bolster a front seven that’s getting up their in age. Kyle Williams is a 12-year NFL vet and their aren’t any sure-fire answers behind him. The Buffalo Bills are going to have to address the position in the draft, but given other pressing needs like quarterback and wide receiver it’s entirely possible that Buffalo doesn’t address the defensive line until Day 2.
