Scouting Report. Connor Williams. 29. 52. Pick Analysis. Tackle/Guard. Texas. player

Needs: WR, OG, TE

Connor Williams, the former Texas Longhorns offensive lineman, projects as a tackle/guard combo player which gives him the versatility the Jaguars need on the offensive line. Jacksonville has a top-level defense but needs to build their offense around Blake Bortles and Leonard Fournette.

Williams will be a great addition to the Jaguars and head football coach Doug Marrone‘s offense. He has the size and ability to make him a first rounder, even if his position hasn’t been settled on.

Williams measured in at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds which is true NFL size. Williams has long arms and the ability to get his hands on a defender and drive them out. He is definitely a better run blocker than a pass blocker and that will probably move him inside to guard where his shorter arms won’t be taken advantage of as much as if he was at tackle.
