2018 NFL Mock Draft: Complete first round post NFL Combine
Needs: OL, DT, CB
Maurice Hurst was sent home from the NFL Combine after being detected of having a heart issue. Hurst measured in at 6-foot-2 and 280 pounds but couldn’t compete in the drills portion.
Hopefully he will have his physical issues worked out by his pro day and be ready to compete. If you’re a competitor, you know how much it had to affect Hurst to not be able to go out and show off his abilities. Hurst will slip from a top 10 or 15 pick down to a late first rounder and the Vikings will grab Hurst at 30th overall.
Minnesota is looking to trade Case Keenum and add picks or players. The Vikings could use offensive line help, as well as cornerback help but Hurst is too big of a prospect to pass up on at 30th. Hurst logged 32 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks in his four-year career in Ann Arbor, MI. If Hurst can sort out his medical condition he has the chance to be a Pro Bowl caliber player in the NFL.
