2018 NFL Mock Draft: Complete first round after pro days, trades
Needs: OL, LB, TE
Marvin Lewis is back for another season in orange and black as the head football coach of the Cincinnati Bengals. While Lewis is considered a defensive minded coach his offenses have always been uber-talented. Case in point, the Bengals have Andy Dalton, Giovanni Bernard, Joe Mixon, AJ Green, and Tyler Eifert. Quarterback Andy Dalton has plenty of targets to keep the offense improving in 2018. But the defense needs to add
Rashaan Evans, the former Alabama linebacker, is a great fit for Lewis’ 4-3 defensive scheme. Evans will join Vontaze Burfict who will be suspended to start the 2018 season and the Bengals would welcome a younger more athletic linebacker to their fold.
At 6-foot-3 and 234 pounds, Evans has the NFL size to play in the middle and enough speed and quickness to play inside or outside in the 4-3. With Preston Brown coming over from Buffalo that gives the Bengals versatility to move Evans around during his rookie year.
