Similar to the situation at hand for Alaka, the Texas A&M secondary should have a fun time defending against two young quarterbacks in April 14. The most experienced defensive back returning for the Aggies this year is senior free safety Donovan Wilson.

Replacing the departed star strong safety Armani Watts is no easy task. Especially since Watts was so clutch in the past few years, someone new really has to step up in the wake of his absence in 2018. Wilson is the obvious candidate to fill that void in the secondary.

The young talent at the safety spot is prevalent for the Aggies. Rising sophomore safeties like Myles Jones, Keldrick Carper, and Ikenna Okeke seem to be having standout efforts in spring practice, and that could translate to the festivities at Kyle Field this weekend.
