Pick Analysis. 54. Kolton Miller. 32. player. Scouting Report. Offensive Tackle. UCLA

There are plenty of teams with significant gaps on their roster that “need” to be addressed in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Philadelphia Eagles might be the exception. With Nick Foles remaining on the team, the defending Super Bowl Champions don’t even have a concern at the backup quarterback position.

All that makes the Eagles’ first round pick rather intriguing. They can truly afford to take the “best player available”, and for their purposes that is probably on the offensive line. Right tackle Lane Johnson has had issues staying on the field. One more suspension could put the Eagles in a bind, making a safety net important for the defending champs.

With Connor Williams and Mike McGlinchey off the board, UCLA offensive tackle Kolton Miller is the next best option. Miller kept Josh Rosen upright last year as the Bruins’ left tackle. Sliding him over to the right side, a position he also played in school, shouldn’t be a problem.

Kolton Miller’s selection wraps up the first round. Here are the projections for the remaining six rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft.
