NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete 7-Round projections
Quarterback or bust. Those are the options the Buffalo Bills have left for themselves after making yet another blockbuster trade. The Bills picked up a second first round pick in 2018 in a draft day trade with the Kansas City Chiefs a year ago. They’ll package that extra pick and their newly acquired No. 12 overall pick from Cincinnati to vault into the top five and snag a quarterback.
Josh Rosen will be one of the last of the four top quarterback prospects on the board. He might be, whether by fortune or by luck, the Bills top choice. If he’s still available at No. 4 the Bills will pay a king’s ransom to trade up to get him, forfeiting both of their 2018 first round picks as well as their first rounder in 2019 to do so.
After trading Tyrod Taylor to the Browns the Bills were left with AJ McCarron and Nathan Peterman. Not getting a quarterback would have been absolute failure. They’ll get their guy, but three first round picks is a hefty price to pay and the Browns will once again load up on top-round talent.
