Louisville Football: 3 best landings spots for Lamar Jackson in NFL Draft
After focusing on the team that gave them a rough ride in the AFC Championship Game a few months ago, we turn the attention to the conference champions themselves in the New England Patriots. Denying that Tom Brady is getting to his last leg is just a foolish move for any fan of the Pats.
At nearly 41-years-young, Brady is still performing at a degree that seems almost inhumane. Yet, when has that not been the case for Brady over the course of his accomplished NFL career. There is time remaining for Brady to have a quarterback learn under him for a year or two, like Jacoby Brissett and Jimmy Garoppolo were able to do recently.
The rumors of the possibility of Jackson landing with New England have really caught on in the week leading up to the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. New England acquired the 23rd overall pick in the first round in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams involving the former Oregon State Beavers wide receiver Brandin Cooks. They also have the 31st pick.

If Jackson is available at either of those picks that New England has in the first round, they should snatch him up in a heartbeat. The opportunity for Jackson to learn under a legendary head coach in Bill Belichick and quarterback in Brady is can’t miss for him as it could really maximize his potential at the NFL level.
