4. Frank Ragnow Will be a Day 1 pick

Multiple interior offensive lineman have been rumored to be in the mix in Round 1 of the NFL Draft. Former Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson won’t get outside of the Top 10, but centers Billy Price and James Daniels have also received a good amount of love in the pre-draft process.

A new name emerged on the scene just days before the first pick will be announced in Arlington, Texas on Thursday night. Former Arkansas center Frank Ragnow was originally tabbed to go somewhere in the midst of the late second to early third round, now he’s being projected inside the first round, as high as the low 20’s.

This could be a situation of the media completely missing. Medical concerns that caused him to miss the tail end of his final collegiate season didn’t do him any favors, but outside of those concerns there hasn’t been much conversation about Ragnow at all. In lieu of something serious on the medical side coming out in the hours before the draft it appears that Ragnow is deservedly on his way to being a first round pick.

Verdict: Fact
