4. 32. Pick Analysis. WR. Round 1, No. 29 overall. Calvin Ridley. player. Scouting Report

Arizona has a great receiver on their team already — the indomitable Larry Fitzgerald. But at 35 years old, Fitzgerald is nearing the end of his NFL career, and the Cardinals would do well to add receiver Calvin Ridley to their roster. They were already hurting at that position, with John Brown and Jaron Brown becoming free agents. Ridley isn’t a big guy – -not for the NFL, anyway.

Ridley has other assets that more than make up for his size. He is speedy; the guy can run routes at full pelt without breaking a sweat. He accelerates like a Dodge Charger, so he creates separation almost effortlessly. He can line up both outside and inside and still make big plays, because he has great hands.

He isn’t a physical player by any means — his style is all about speed, not power. He will be a top-notch wideout for the right outfit, and Arizona can use someone with his proven talent for production.
