The Clemson defensive line shocked many when they all decided to return to school for their senior season. Clelin Ferrell and Christian Wilkins all could have been first round picks in 2018 and it wouldn’t be shocking to see both defenders in the top 10 picks of 2019. Austin Bryant should have a future in the NFL as well.

Although all three of those players have elite talent, the best NFL prospect among them is Dexter Lawrence, a sophomore last season. The 6-foot-5, 340 pound tackle can take up multiple blocks inside and found ways to get to the quarterback at Clemson from the inside. He has 11 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks in two seasons with the Tigers, more than respectable numbers considering the power coming off the edges around him.

Lawrence has already drawn comparisons to Ndamukong Suh, one of the best defensive tackles in the league. Lawrence is quick, powerful and overly athletic for a frame of his size. Every defensive coordinator in the league is going to want him, making it extremely unlikely he slides from the top 10, no matter how his senior year unfolds.
