2. Wisconsin offense

As mentioned before, Taylor follows in the footsteps of other awe-inspiring Wisconsin running backs like Montee Ball, Melvin Gordon and James White. Utilizing a more pro-style offensive strategy, the Badgers rely heavily on their ground attack.

Barry Alvarez, Wisconsin’s athletic director and former interim head coach, described the Badgers potent rushing game in a report by Fox Sports saying:

"“That’s first of all our philosophy, is we’re going to be a physical team, we’re going to run the ball, be able to run the ball and it starts with the offensive line,” said Alvarez, now Wisconsin’s athletic director. “Backs, they want to come where they can run the ball.”"

A video released by Wisconsin Football on Youtube featured Taylor’s offseason workouts. He mentioned that he is fine-tuning his overall game and working towards improving the “little details.”

Following Taylor’s record-setting season last year in which he broke Adrian Peterson’s freshman rushing record, the Badgers will look to unleash a ground attack spearheaded by their star back.
