Wynn, an IMG Academy product, is a versatile defensive lineman who’ll have the chance to play early and often for the Tide in 2018. He’s been locked in to Saban and company for a while – he committed to Alabama over Georgia before the 2017 season even began, and made things official in the early signing period. To top it all off, he enrolled early and was with the team during spring practice.

Wynn’s ability to play all over the line is what will set him apart from his fellow true freshmen. He was evaluated as a defensive end out of high school, but at 6-foot-4 and nearly 300 pounds, it appears that the coaches in Tuscaloosa see him more as a defensive tackle.

With the Tide in need of added depth in the interior of the line, Wynn should be a perfect fit for the rotation. No matter where he ends up, the high four-star prospect looks like he’ll be a difference-maker.
