Notre Dame football‘s Brandon Wimbush is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country. His talents could make him a Heisman candidate in 2018.

Brandon Wimbush is a dynamic quarterback that garners the ability to both pass and run the ball. With year one as a starter complete, does Wimbush have what it takes to enter the Heisman conversation?

As a junior last season, Wimbush got his first full season as the starting signal caller under his belt. He made appearances in 12 out of Notre Dame’s 13 games last year and got it done through the air as well as on the ground.

For as talented as a slinger that Wimbush is, he certainly has the talent to be in the Heisman watch. Here are five key reasons he has a shot at taking home the award.
