Remember how we discussed the opportunities for immediate playing time in UCF’s secondary? Well, the Knights have yet another early enrollee from Miami who should be in the mix for playing time right away.

Jermaine McMillian had a handful of offers from programs across the nation, and was at one point considered likely to sign with South Carolina before he inked with the Knights. Beyond the Gamecocks, McMillian also earned offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and NC State. He committed to Frost in October, but stayed loyal to UCF through the coaching change and signed his letter of intent during the early signing period, as the Knights held off late efforts from the Bulldogs and USF.

He’s a tall, rangy athlete who should be able to add depth at either cornerback or safety immediately. His versatility is a huge part of what gives him a chance to be part of the rotation once fall practices roll around.
