The Buckeyes always take the field looking fresh thanks to their scarlet and grey color scheme. There is no denying that Ohio State naturally has easily one of the best looking uniforms in the game. It doesn’t go too over the top with any single design characteristic and sticks to a traditional style.

The scarlet jerseys and grey pants mesh perfectly together with the silver helmets. But what truly completes Ohio State’s outfit are the pride stickers that adorn the helmets.

Ohio is known as the “Buckeye State” and the football team embraces that with the Buckeye helmet stickers. Not all teams use pride stickers, but without question, Ohio State’s are the best.

According to ESPN , the Ohio State helmet sticker tradition began some 40 years ago. What is satisfying about the helmet stickers is that they are not just given out, they are earned. The stickers display character, will, determination and most evidently, talent.

The helmet stickers are accumulated over the course of the season. That means, by the end of the year, a helmet can almost be completely covered with pride stickers. That is just part of the beautiful and creative nature of the Buckeyes uniforms.
